Born in Raoyang county of Hebei in 1939. Edified by the famous artist - Huanting Zhang from his childhood, and had ever engaged in the culture and literature propaganda job for many years. His works were often published on the domestic and overseas magazines. Many sketches of him achieved a high level. In the 1960s', influenced by Mr. Xishan, he began to pursue the inside-painting art. Because of his smart brain and profound painting base, after many years of hard work, he formed his own art style.

From the strange figuration and free painting style of his works, we can feel the bold and generous character of him. This is the obvious contrast with the slender and tender style of the tradition.

His handwriting matches with his drawing, whatever the little summarized poem of a picture or the whole-page characters, he always pays attention to the need of part and whole. He has set up a new flag for this art and is called "the representative of the inside-painting Art of today".
