| Born
in Raoyang county, Hebei. Studied with Ziyi Liu - a famous artist of Hebei. Then attended
in an advanced study in the Hebei Industrial Art School and then in the Art Department of
Hebei Normal College. In 1984, he took part in the Hebei inside-painting research class
and helped the artist-Yizi Liu found the" New Inside-painting Art". During this
time, his ideas and styles changed thoroughly, from imitating the traditional works to
innovating his own works. Through diligent works of these years, he had formed his own
artistic conception of the true life. His art achievement related closely with his life in Taihang Mountain, he paid more attention to the internal spirit feeling and inpoured the vigor and vitality into the traditional inside-painting art. He had ever held many learning activities with Yizi Liu, for example, the "New Inside-painting Art Exhibition" in Beijing, " New Works of Yizi Inside-painting Art Studio". He won the honor of inside-painting artist of Hebei. |
